BIORING adopts the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) methodology: an upstream approach which integrates product performance, sustainability (both economic and environmental), safety, and potential legal concerns since the early stages of the development of the coatings.
Moreover, the project adopts state-of-the-art and novel digital technologies for data management and analysis, as well as for process design and modelling.
We analyse the whole value chain health and safety profile to demonstrate the higher safety and sustainability of our solutions, using safe-by-design tools and considering the new “Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation” (new eco-design directive) for a holistic approach.
